Design Engineer Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical systems, materials science, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative mechanical systems and components based on project requirements.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using computer-aided design software.
  • Conduct simulations and testing to validate designs and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Perform complex calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the design, development, and testing phases.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation.

To be successful in this role, candidates will require a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 2 years of experience in mechanical design and development. Proficiency in computer-aided design software and strong communication and teamwork abilities are also essential.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 Years of experience in mechanical design and development preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design software (e.g., SolidWorks / AutoCAD).
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
