Academic Instructor Position

We invite applications for a part-time lecturer to serve as the primary instructor for core and elective courses in the Psychology major curriculum.
- Preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, and discussion sections.
- Supervision and coordination of teaching assistants and tutors.
- Setting assessment components and marking examinations.
The ideal candidate will possess a doctorate or master's qualification in Psychology or a related field, with demonstrated effective teaching and training of undergraduates. Specializations in Personality Psychology, I/O Psychology, Bio-psychology, or Clinical Psychology are particularly welcome.
Key Responsibilities- Teaching undergraduate psychology students.
- Delivering high-quality instruction in areas such as Personality Psychology, I/O Psychology, Bio-psychology, and/or Clinical Psychology.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills relevant to teaching and pastoral care, as well as a willingness to contribute to the objectives of the Programme and School, working collaboratively with others.
Qualifications and Requirements- Higher degree (PhD/DPhil/Masters) in Psychology or a related discipline.
- Experience and interest in teaching undergraduate psychology students.
Emerging research track record (peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations) in Psychology fields is highly desirable. The ability to contribute significantly to teaching and development of multiple undergraduate courses is also essential.
