Cloud Solution Architect

We're on the lookout for a Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet our clients' needs.

About the Role
  • You'll work closely with customers to understand their current IT infrastructure and help them migrate to the cloud.
  • You'll design and implement cloud architectures that are secure, scalable, and efficient.
  • You'll advise clients on cloud strategy and provide guidance on cloud security controls.
  • You'll assist in project delivery from a perspective of architecting, designing, and delivering capabilities to the existing environment.
About You
  • You have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience implementing private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • You have done at least 3 cycles of cloud migration.
  • You have strong AWS/Azure cloud concepts and hands-on experience working with cloud services.
  • You have experience in the design of Multi-Cloud Services.
  • You possess knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, container management, and cloud computing capabilities especially as offered by Azure.
  • You have a solid understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, and routing in distributed networks.
  • You have an understanding of various IT infrastructures and application stacks.
  • You utilize cloud security controls, network boundary controls, and related toolsets.
  • You have an understanding of agile software development and the ability to apply DevOps concepts such as Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure Resource Manager templates or Cloud Formation.
  • You work within customer requirements and advise customers on best practices while upholding customer service standards.
  • You are experienced with scripting in one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, and C#/.NET.
  • An added advantage if you have done private cloud or cloud strategy/assessment work for a client in the Financial Services or Insurance Industry.
  • An added advantage if you are Enterprise Architect certified.
