Plastic Injection Moulding Operations Leader

The role of Plastic Injection Moulding Manager involves overseeing daily operations to achieve production targets for automotive components. This includes leading and supervising injection moulding teams, allocating manpower, and managing machine operations across multiple lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Meet productivity targets, cycle times, and output efficiency by implementing effective production strategies
- Ensure parts meet automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) through rigorous quality control processes
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize performance
- Optimize machine settings for product consistency and reduce scrap through data-driven decision making
- Troubleshoot process or equipment issues promptly to maintain production flow
- Supervise and coach a team of moulding technicians and operators to improve skills and knowledge
- Conduct training on safe machine operation and work instructions to ensure a safe working environment
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Enforce safety regulations and PPE usage at all times to protect employees and prevent accidents
- 5 years of experience in injection moulding in automotive or precision plastic components
- Familiarity with IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other automotive quality tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to drive results and improve performance
