You can take the first step towards a fulfilling career by joining our organization as a Database and Backup Specialist.

As a key member of our IT team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of our data systems.

With a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server (2012-2022), including upgrades and migrations, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining our SQL Server environments.

You will also be responsible for planning and executing SQL Server upgrade and migration projects with minimal downtime, developing and implementing a comprehensive backup strategy for critical systems and databases, and managing and operating Veeam Backup & Replication for both physical and virtual environments.

Additionally, you will oversee backup tape rotation, inventory tracking, offsite movement, and audit compliance, maintain detailed documentation of backup procedures, schedules, and tape logs, and create and maintain batch jobs and scripts to automate database and backup tasks.

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of technologies, including Dell EMC Isilon storage systems, and collaborate with application, storage, and infrastructure teams to align backup and recovery requirements.

Key skills required for this role include strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, proficiency in configuring and managing Veeam Backup & Replication, in-depth knowledge of Dell EMC Isilon storage systems and administration, and experience designing and implementing enterprise-level backup strategies.

Preferred qualifications include certifications in Microsoft SQL Server, Veeam VMCE, or Dell EMC Isilon, experience with backup and storage compliance audits, and knowledge of monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SolarWinds, or similar.
