Job Title: Environmental Specialist
">We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team. As an environmental specialist, you will be responsible for conducting environmental surveys and testing to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and calibration of testing equipment, as well as reporting and interpreting test results.
- Ensure that all EHS onsite testing, surveying & sampling conforms to relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practices.
- Conduct professional testing with integrity, accuracy and consistency.
- Involve in Greenhouse Gases (GHG) & Destruction Removal Efficiency (DRE) testing for Semicon and Petrochemicals Industries.
- Responsible for Carbon Tax emission measurement, Indoor Air Quality, Boundary Noise, Occupational Noise, Compressed Dry Air, Industrial Hygiene, Source Emission & Ambient Air Quality, Research & Development, Biohazard Decontamination, Pollution Control Engineering & Remediation.
- Assist in business development of the environmental testing, assessment & consultancy services and to ensure clients compliance to regulations.
- Manage ISO 17025 laboratory quality management system documentation of laboratory operations and site testing to ensure QA/QC compliance to SAC-SINGLAS accreditation requirements.
- Manage clients, team work, report deadlines and followup business development growth action plan.
- May require to travel on overseas assignments for specific jobs awarded from time to time by the company.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in environmental testing and assessment.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
