Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sample Registration Technician to join our laboratory operations team at the Bureau Veritas Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with established procedures and guidelines for sample registration, including unpacking, submission checking, temperature verification, and proper storage and preparation for dispatch.
  • Maintain adherence to recognized standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures, documenting new or modified procedures and reporting quality issues promptly.
  • Coordinate the return of chilled bins to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate document filing and archiving systems, ensuring regular archival activities.
  • Contribute to maintaining clean and organized work areas within laboratory-designated zones.
  • Engage Team Leader-Customer in discussions regarding customer samples, test requirements, or task procedures.
  • Report all customer complaints and concerns to Team Leader-Customer immediately and collaborate on resolutions as directed.
  • Adhere to laboratory and regulatory quality assurance protocols.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions related to quality assurance.
  • Actively participate in internal and external audits.
  • Promote health and safety initiatives, report incidents, and prioritize safe work practices.
  • Exercise professional judgment and seek guidance from senior staff when addressing challenging situations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Science disciplines or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in commercial laboratories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fresh graduates may apply.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $60,000-$80,000 depending on location and experience.
