Opening: Clinical Sample Processor (Singapore ICON labs) Full office based role The working schedule will include: No night shifts required 9am - 6pm office hours 5 day work week, based on duty roster including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays *you will be compensated double pay for any Public Holiday duties and an off-in-lieuLocation of office: 30 Loyang way, Unit 02/12-15, Singapore 508769 With our patients at the centre of all that we do, we help to accelerate the development of drugs and devices that save lives and improve quality of life. The Role: The Clinical Sample Processor will be responsible for receiving daily shipments of samples and other materials, assessing the samples upon receipt, entering data in ICON’s Lab Database, and storing samples based on protocol specifications. Perform a quality check of controlled forms, scan paperwork, archive visits and other regulated documentation. Barcode labelling and validation of specimens and transport specimens to the technicians in the laboratory to be analysed. Adhere to OSHA and the Company's Health and Safety regulations and security procedures at all times and document and research any problems with received specimen. Preparation of sample shipments per shipment schedule, including relevant documentation Quality checking of shipments to ensure correct samples are included and documentation accompanies shipments Shipment of samples to other ICL locations or referral laboratories per protocol specific requirements Responsible for receipt of samples into the database and store in samples per protocol specifications Maintaining sample and shipment documentation in appropriate files Coordinate courier collections with Logistics to ensure shipments are sent as per protocol specific requirements Escalating any problems to senior members of the team Additional responsibilities as requested by management of Sample Management To be successful in the role, you will have: High School or Diploma in the right qualifications Basic working knowledge of computers and accuracy and attentiveness to detail An alternate combination of experience, education and training by management to be equivalent to the foregoing Benefits of Working in ICON: Our success depends on the knowledge, capabilities and quality of our people.
