Role Overview

Tullett Prebon is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join their team as a Trainee Broker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the brokers in the smooth running of the desk
  • Provide timely input of trades into trading systems
  • Resolve trade queries and discrepancies
  • Identify trade opportunities and calculate strategies
  • Keep trade records up to date
  • Update market data on whiteboards
  • Provide input on projects for brokers and traders
  • Provide trade details to brokers and traders
  • Give live quotes to traders
  • Monitor markets and follow financial news
  • Understand underlying products and stay up to date with new products and procedures
  • Liaise with clients to provide a reliable and efficient broking service
  • Develop new business with existing clients and on-board new clients
