Job Description:

The primary role of a CSSD (Central Sterile Supply Department) Technician is to support the smooth operation of surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are prepared, sterilized, and readily available. This technician plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment for healthcare professionals.

This position involves close collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to facilitate effective communication, optimize workflow, and ensure patient care standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing operating theatre rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Performing sterilization of instruments and equipment, preparing necessary items before each surgery
  • Assisting surgeons and nurses during surgery, providing essential support and handing over required tools to facilitate smooth operations
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum N Level qualification or equivalent
  • Comfortable handling situations involving exposure to blood
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • A service-oriented approach with a passion for working in the healthcare sector
