Job Title: Global Policy Leader

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the development and implementation of global policies across our platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Trust & Safety ecosystem, including policy challenges such as child safety, misinformation, and hate speech. They will be responsible for leading a team of policy experts in creating principles, guidelines, and educational materials that govern content and conduct on our platforms.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex policy concepts to diverse audiences. They will also be able to manage high-stakes escalations, make sound judgments under pressure, and balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities
  • Policymaking: Develop and implement global policies that promote user safety and well-being while enabling free expression.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure policies are effective, feasible, and aligned with objectives.
  • Crisis Management: Provide expert guidance and facilitate rapid decision-making during emergency content safety issues.
  • Proactive Adaptation: Stay abreast of global trends, emerging harms, and regulatory landscapes to adapt policies proactively.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years leading global teams and developing/implementing policy frameworks at scale.
  • Deep understanding of the Trust & Safety ecosystem and major policy challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to influence executive leadership and shape global strategy through compelling policy recommendations.
