Regional Medical Leader - APAC

Job Description:

The Regional Medical Leader will provide strategic oversight of cases, develop and implement initiatives focused on preventive health and workplace wellness, and collaborate with associates to provide medical expertise during the investigation, evaluation, and resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement healthcare strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs
  • Provide medical expertise to the claims division and collaborate with associates to resolve complex claims
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business solutions that meet customer needs
  • Lead and manage a team of medical professionals to achieve business objectives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the company remains competitive

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or equivalent
  • Active practicing license registered with the Singapore Medical Council (an advantage)
  • Minimum 7 years' clinical experience, ideally in Family Medicine, General Surgery, General Medicine, Orthopedics, or Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in health insurance, healthcare systems, and/or digital health
  • Familiarity with the healthcare system and healthcare-related regulations in Singapore
