Quantum Computing Leadership Position

We are seeking a skilled and innovative professional to lead our quantum computing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantum mechanics, algorithms, and computational physics.

This role requires the ability to design and benchmark fault-tolerant quantum computing algorithms, as well as identify and model mathematical primitives in large language models and neural networks that can benefit from quantum acceleration.

The successful candidate will work closely with our compiler and orchestration teams to ensure alignment between theoretical models and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient quantum algorithms for various applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum computing capabilities into existing systems.
  • Design and optimize quantum circuits for improved performance and scalability.
  • Analyze and optimize resource utilization for quantum computing workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in quantum computing research and apply knowledge to drive innovation.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong background in quantum mechanics, quantum algorithms, and computational physics.
  • Experience with resource estimation for quantum algorithms and familiarity with QEC concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with scientific computing libraries.
  • Familiarity with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate theoretical models into implementable algorithms.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
