Hotpot Chef

The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Hotpot chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot pot dishes in accordance with specific menus.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook and serve a range of hot pot items, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Assist in creating new hot pot dishes and menus, leveraging your culinary expertise to drive innovation and growth.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure timely ordering and receipt of ingredients and supplies.
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, safety and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Contribute to cost control by minimizing waste, optimizing food quantities and ensuring efficient storage practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Leadership skills, with experience in supervising a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredient combinations.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and protocols, with a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to adapt to changing menu requirements and kitchen demands.
