Job Description

Job Title: Hospitality Lecturer - Pastry and Baking

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry and Baking Chef to join our teaching team as a Hospitality Lecturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in food and beverage operations, with a focus on pastry and baking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver curriculum for pastry and baking courses, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Teach and assess students in pastry and baking techniques, including cake decorating, bread making, and pastry production.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to students, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials, ensuring they are relevant and effective.
  • Participate in research and industry projects, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the hospitality industry.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality training programs, ensuring a seamless and effective learning experience for students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in pastry and baking, with a strong background in teaching and training.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs, with a focus on pastry and baking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, including cake decorating, bread making, and pastry production.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
