We are seeking a skilled Audio and Visual Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily upkeep of audio and visual systems in assigned show areas and AV room.

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all audio and visual equipment are functioning properly and efficiently. This includes performing daily audio live show operations, external events, AV maintenance, pre-show checks, setup, and troubleshooting of equipment such as soundboards, wireless microphones, audio and video playbacks, amplifiers, speakers etc.

In addition to these tasks, the successful candidate will also be required to assist with other duties to support programmes, special programmes, and the daily activities of the department as assigned by supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain audio and visual systems in assigned show areas and AV room
  • Perform daily audio live show operations, external events, AV maintenance, pre-show checks, setup, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Assist with other duties to support programmes, special programmes, and the daily activities of the department
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Able to commit at least 3 times a week
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays
  • Able to work on night shifts when necessary
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-task in fast changing environment
  • Able to run audio live shows independently
  • Comfortable with animals
  • Able to carry heavy load
  • Fit to walk for long distances
