Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal/external parties to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of internal policies and procedures to ensure they remain effective and compliant.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance matters, including AML/CFT standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct reviews of new clients and existing trust accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report any findings to the relevant authorities.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up on internal/external audits and regulatory inspections.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Law or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of working experience as a Compliance Officer in a trust company or relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CFT and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
