Senior Network and Cybersecurity Professional

Are you a highly skilled and experienced network and cybersecurity professional looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a Senior Network and Cybersecurity Professional to join our team in Choa Chu Kang, Singapore.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of network, server, storage, and security equipment. They will configure and upgrade hardware, firmware, and software for the centre. Additionally, they will prepare and set up the centre according to testing requirements, provide operation and support for equipment, diagnose hardware and software problems, and arrange for defective components to be replaced.

Key responsibilities include setting up simulated networks for training, developing, testing, and implementing custom scripts to enhance range operations, coordinating and following up with vendors, system administrators, and project teams to resolve issues in the environments, and troubleshooting and managing end-to-end availability, capacity, change, configuration, incident, and problem management of range systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of working experience dealing with data center infrastructure, hands-on experience working with physical servers and networking equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, lead a team of 2-3 engineers, and possess min. 1 year of virtualization technology experience such as Virtual Machines, Knowledge in VMware products, ESXI, VCenter, and know how to setup virtualized network of VMs and vSwitches is a plus.

Must have CCNA certification or equivalent as the candidate is required to assign IPs, VLANs etc, port forwarding etc, familiar with cyber technologies is a plus, such as understanding firewall, SIEM, Antivirus, SSL, system logs etc, good communication skills dealing with end customers, able to discuss with them on daily tasks, prioritize the work loads and assign out tasks to the engineers.

Candidate shall be based onsite at an army camp located in Choa Chu Kang.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of working experience dealing with Data Center infra.
  • Hands on experience working with physical servers and networking equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls.
  • Lead a team of 2-3 engineers.
  • Min. 1 year of virtualization technology experience such as Virtual Machines.
  • Knowledge in VMware products, ESXI , VCenter.
  • Know how to setup virtualized network of VMs and vSwitches is a plus.
  • Must have CCNA certification or equivalent.
  • Familiar with cyber technologies is a plus.
