Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced TCM Therapist to join our team and deliver holistic, patient-centred care that addresses musculoskeletal and systemic health concerns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and be skilled in Acupuncture, Cupping, and Gua Sha. They will work collaboratively with the chiropractic and physiotherapy team on integrated patient care plans and ensure accurate clinical records and compliance with documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform acupuncture treatments in accordance with TCM diagnosis and regulatory standards
  • Deliver cupping therapy (fire/vacuum) to address muscular tension, stagnation, and improve circulation
  • Provide Gua Sha treatments to support detoxification and alleviate muscular and systemic imbalances
  • Work collaboratively with the chiropractic and physiotherapy team on integrated patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with documentation standards
  • Educate patients on TCM principles, lifestyle recommendations, and treatment aftercare
  • Ensure hygiene, safety, and equipment sterilisation standards are upheld at all times
  • Monitor and report any adverse patient reactions or contraindications
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Registration as a TCM Practitioner with the relevant board
  • Formal qualifications in Traditional Chinese Medicine, inclusive of Acupuncture, Cupping, and Gua Sha (Diploma or Degree level)
  • At least 1–2 years of clinical experience in all three modalities preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust with a diverse patient base
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin is advantageous (for communication with Mandarin-speaking patients)
  • High attention to hygiene, safety, and professional conduct
