Site Operations Director

The Site Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the coordination and execution of site works in accordance with overall project targets. This role ensures seamless integration between technical specifications, safety protocols, and delivery schedules.
Main Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Construction Managers to prepare and implement Construction Execution Plans for HVDC projects.
- Plan and coordinate site staffing, organization, and budgeting in line with contract scope requirements.
- Establish clear goals and expectations for site personnel, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Manage site budgets, costs, and schedules, maintaining optimal resource allocation.
- Develop and enforce the Site Quality Control Program, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Approve final site material purchases and coordinate construction site activities from layout to demobilization.
- Implement daily plans, oversee on-site operations, and support departments in achieving project milestones.
- Coordinate system turnover to commissioning, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing large, complex HVDC projects, including HVDC electrical works and equipment commissioning.
- Proven track record in building Offshore HVDC Platforms and managing interfaces with shipyards, with strong health and safety knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication skills in challenging situations.
- Knowledge of building services, auxiliaries, HVDC equipment, control & protection systems.
