We are seeking a suitable candidate to fill the full-time position of Coach/Assistant Coach in close partnership with the national sport association for swimming, SAQ, to prepare developmental student-athletes for national team representation at international competitions.

The selected individual will be responsible for planning and implementing training and competition plans for student-athletes towards high performance in sports, based on long-term athlete development principles. Regular progress updates will be provided to the Swimming Academy, student-athletes and their parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • At least 2 years of competitive coaching experience with elite and developmental youth athletes.
  • Possess equivalent of SG-Coach Level 1 (Theory and Technical) and/or an international swimming coaching qualification recognised by World Aquatics.
  • Fulfil requirements to obtain National Registry of Coaches (NROC) membership and Ministry of Education (MOE) registration.
  • Display good understanding of sports science as applied to elite youth sports.
  • Keen understanding of quality Daily Training Environment needed for student-athlete development.
  • Competent in value inculcation and character development for student-athletes.
  • Good planning, administrative and organisational skills.
