The Cybersecurity Service Delivery Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing the comprehensive processes associated with security vulnerability remediation. This position necessitates a profound knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment, and IT service management. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams to pinpoint, prioritize, and address security vulnerabilities through the implementation of patches and solutions, safeguarding the organization's assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Vulnerability Oversight:

  • Collaborate intimately with the Cyber Security team on the vulnerability management initiative, focusing on the identification, evaluation, and prioritization of critical vulnerabilities.

Remediation Strategy:

  • Identify appropriate solutions for identified vulnerabilities.
  • Formulate and execute effective remediation strategies within established timelines.
  • Monitor and manage the progress of remediation efforts, ensuring vulnerabilities are resolved promptly.
  • Engage with stakeholders regarding any planned downtime necessary for remediation deployment.
  • Coordinate with IT departments to apply essential patches, updates, and configuration modifications.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for vulnerability remediation.

Risk Assessment:

  • Work with stakeholders to conduct impact assessments.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential implementation challenges.
  • Design and execute strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Keep current risk registers and reports updated.

Service Management:

  • Ensure the provision of high-quality security vulnerability management services.
  • Track service performance metrics and identify opportunities for enhancement.
  • Manage incidents and issues related to service delivery.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing the progress and status of the remediation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with established Service-Level Agreements.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and oversee a team of specialists within the remediation program.
  • Delegate tasks, set objectives, and provide constructive performance feedback.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in security vulnerability management and remediation.
  • Strong grasp of IT service management frameworks (ITIL, ITSM).
  • Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Extensive experience in security incident management and response.
  • Relevant certifications in Information Security or IT service management.
  • Familiarity with various software products, including Solaris OS, Linux OS, Windows OS, and Hypervisors.
