Warehouse Inventory Specialist

The Warehouse Inventory Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock management, and optimizing warehouse space utilization.

This involves maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, conducting regular physical stock counts, and investigating discrepancies between system data and physical inventory.

Additionally, the Warehouse Inventory Specialist works closely with warehouse staff to ensure proper stock handling and storage, coordinates with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand, and optimizes warehouse space utilization and suggests improvements in layout and storage methods.

Furthermore, the Warehouse Inventory Specialist ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and inventory control standards, prepares and submits inventory reports, including stock variance analysis and slow-moving stock reports, and assists in audits and implements corrective actions based on audit findings.

Key requirements for this role include certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field, 2-5 years of experience in warehouse inventory management, and proficiency in Excel and data analysis for inventory reports.
