Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Financial Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for handling full sets of accounts, including general ledger and reporting, as well as monthly and yearly closing. You will also be expected to prepare quarterly GST submissions and ensure accurate and timely closing of books.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Record and classify all accounting transactions, ensuring correct accounts, postings, verifications, and balances of debit and credit entries.
- Manage accurate and timely closing of books for the monthly and yearly periods.
- Prepare and reconcile transactions for compilation of financial reports.
- Financial Analysis and Planning
- Identify improvement areas and develop good accounting control procedures and best practices to enhance accounting quality and efficiency.
- Keep accurate records and attend internal meetings.
- Candidate Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy/ACCA Level 2 or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in full sets of accounts.
- Must have experience in QuickBooks or related accounting software.
