Job Title: Automation Systems Specialist

Description: We are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting operations support systems (OSS) to ensure they meet user requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participating in requirement workshops to capture software and system requirements
  • Building and maintaining software applications and automation scripts for process or infrastructure management tasks such as provisioning, troubleshooting, resolution, configuration change, and compliance checks
  • Working in an agile environment to deliver software releases according to schedule
  • Developing automation scripts for deployment and release of software code and packages
  • Writing efficient and clean code
  • Managing code documentation and version control
  • Troubleshooting and debugging software
  • Participating in on-call rotations to resolve production issues

Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#
Understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
Knowledge of Linux or Windows operating systems
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
