Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of oil markets, prices, spreads, cracks, and cross-asset correlations to provide insights and competitive advantage for our traders.
  • Develop and maintain tools to support analysis and research, working closely with trading desks to tailor research and analysis to business requirements.
  • Identify market relationships and pricing anomalies to provide actionable recommendations to traders.
  • Analyze ideas with traders, produce research supporting them, and foster discussion across trading books.
Requirements:
  • Highly numerate with good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong coding skills, including VBA, SQL, Python, and database management.
  • Educated to degree or masters level with a strong mathematical inclination.
