About The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Service Crew Member to join our team. As a Service Crew Member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

You will be expected to upsell menu items, collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff, and adhere to safety protocols. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in customer service, teamwork, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and explain daily specials to ensure customers feel welcomed and attended to throughout their dining experience.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serving Food and Drinks: Deliver meals and beverages to customers' tables in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and quality.
  • Table Maintenance: Assist in keeping tables clean and organized, including clearing away used dishes, resetting tables, and ensuring that utensils and condiments are stocked.
  • Menu Knowledge: Familiarize oneself with the restaurant's menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer questions and provide recommendations.
  • Handling Payments: Process customer payments, including cash and credit transactions, and provide receipts. Ensure accurate billing and handle any discrepancies.
  • Communication: Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service, relay special requests or dietary restrictions, and address any customer concerns promptly.
  • Assisting in Cleanliness: Maintain overall cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning tables, and organizing service areas.
  • Adhering to Safety Protocols: Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure food safety and cleanliness, including the proper handling of food and drinks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, support fellow crew members during busy shifts, and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Upselling: Encourage customers to try additional menu items, appetizers, desserts, or drinks to enhance their dining experience and increase sales.
Requirements:
  • Non-executive specialized in F&B services or equivalent.
  • No experience needed; training will be provided.
  • Ability to stand for long hours and work in fast-paced environments.
  • Good communication skills; reliable and punctual.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn.
  • Good attitude.
  • Able to create a warm and friendly atmosphere.
  • Full of energy and spirit.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays; working hours may vary according to opening hours.
  • Weekly rotation.
