The goal of this role is to participate in the development of lithium-ion battery pack design.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing a lithium-ion battery pack that meets system requirements for electric, thermal, and structural performance
  • Preparing technical requirements and design verification standards according to system requirements
  • Literature review on equipment standards and specifications, preparing technical requirement documents
  • Conducting virtual design verification for the thermal performance of developed thermal management systems
  • Preparing 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and animations
  • Documenting design progress and final reports

Requirements for the role include:

  • A master's degree in thermodynamics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field
  • Research or working experience in lithium-ion battery product development and production
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and CAE simulation software like COMSOL and ANSYS
  • Understanding of battery system product development
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Independent and able to work well with a team
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferably bilingual in Chinese and English for research purposes
