Job Title: Power and Energy Specialist

Our organization seeks a talented Power and Energy Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and integrating battery management systems and advanced energy technologies such as solid-state batteries.

The successful applicant will conduct complex power system studies, including load flow, protection coordination, and stability analyses. Additionally, they will oversee system integration efforts for energy storage and power distribution systems, providing high-level technical guidance throughout project life cycles from proposal to commissioning.

As a Power and Energy Specialist, the selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, software, and systems engineers, to deliver complete solutions. They will also prepare and review technical documents, including specifications, reports, and design packages, ensuring designs comply with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.

We are looking for an individual with a Masters/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in power systems engineering or energy technology development is required. Proven experience in battery management systems and/or energy storage system integration is essential.

Key qualifications include a strong understanding of power electronics, control systems, and embedded systems. Experience with simulation tools such as PSCAD, ETAP, PSSE, or MATLAB/Simulink is highly desirable. Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC) and regulatory frameworks is also necessary. Strong project management and leadership skills, with experience leading engineering teams, are vital. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are essential. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with clients and stakeholders, are required.
