Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties/facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repairs as instructed by senior technicians or engineers.
  • Enforce and check general housekeeping and tidiness of the workplace and workspace.
  • Attend to technical assistance requests (TAM) cases assigned by senior technicians or engineers, carrying out permanent rectification or temporary repairs/fixes when necessary within given timeframes.
  • Assist senior technicians or engineers in following up on outstanding issues passed down.
  • Be required to come on-site if urgent issues arise.
  • Maintain good physical condition and strength.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safety protocols.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision and with technicians.
  • Able to lead the team in the absence of a supervisor.
  • Able to support events with a dynamic work schedule.
  • Able to supervise contractors for any repair work and project work.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately and timely.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and building maintenance. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
