Research Collaborator Position

We invite applications for a Research Collaborator in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

This role is part of an interdisciplinary program designed to foster scholars' professional development by working closely with national and international experts in multi-disciplinary areas such as nutrition, reproductive health, maternal and child health, endocrinology, behaviour intervention, healthy longevity and aging, biostatistics and epidemiology.

The selected candidate will support the application and administration of Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols and maintain Investigator Site Files. Additionally, they will be responsible for conducting study recruitment, answering general enquiries on studies, and checking study eligibility.

A key aspect of this role is conducting informed consent in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) guidelines, and the Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA).

The successful candidate will schedule study screening and follow-up visits, perform study measurements, data, and biological sample collection according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). They will also maintain regular communication with other team members across different study sites and manage research study databases, including data queries.

Key Qualifications
  • A Master's degree with knowledge or experience in public health, medicine, and/or biology;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with an investigative nature and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and perform independently;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strict integrity standards in handling confidential matters;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Tact, discretion, and diplomacy to work with a diverse group from varying cultures;
  • Well-organized with good monitoring and follow-up skills within tight deadlines;
  • Resourceful and comfortable in a fast-changing environment;
  • Strong time-management and organization skills.
