Senior Moulding Operations Manager

This is a senior role that oversees daily injection moulding operations in an automotive production environment. The right candidate will have experience in managing teams, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and allocate manpower for multiple moulding lines to meet production targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to productivity targets, cycle times, and output efficiency.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance on in-process checks and non-conformance issues.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any quality deviations or customer complaints.
- Oversee mould changeovers, machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter settings.
- Optimize machine settings to improve product consistency and reduce scrap.
- Troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Lead and mentor a team of moulding technicians, operators, and material handlers.
- Conduct training on safe machine operation, work instructions, and 5S practices.
- Evaluate team performance, manage shift handovers, and ensure discipline.
- Ensure daily machine maintenance checks are performed.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Enforce safety regulations and PPE usage at all times.
- Promote a clean and organized work environment (5S, Kaizen).
- Report and assist in investigating workplace incidents or near-misses.
- 5 years of injection moulding experience, preferably in automotive or precision plastic components.
- Familiar with IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other automotive quality tools.
- Proficient in setting up machines such as Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc, or similar.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, shift-based production environment.
