As a Junior Auditor, you will be responsible for performing specific stages of audit work under supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake various aspects of audit work including appreciating the underlying principles behind tasks assigned as part of the audit plan.
- Make adjustments to the application of skills to improve work tasks or solve non-complex issues.
- Build relationships and work in a team, identifying ethical issues with reference to the code of professional conduct and ethics.
- Select and apply from a range of known solutions to familiar problems and take responsibility for own learning and performance.
- Work with assurance teams to gain an understanding of clients' businesses.
- Develop an audit plan/strategy for an audit of financial statements and document planning procedures.
- Prepare/tailor audit programmes based on areas of audit emphasis determined at the planning stage.
- Perform audit tests of controls and substantive procedures based on planned audit approach to address assertions such as existence & completeness, rights and obligations, valuation, accuracy, presentation and disclosure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- 1-2 year(s) of working experience as an Audit Associate.
