Audit Role Overview

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking external audits in various industries, including small to medium-sized companies. Key responsibilities include developing a comprehensive understanding of the relevant business and risk management issues, as well as familiarizing themselves with Singapore's regulatory and reporting environment.

In this role, you will work independently under tight deadlines to gain exposure and develop your skills. You will also be responsible for preparing audited and unaudited financial statements and tax computations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake external audits in various industries
  • Develop a good understanding of the relevant business and risk management issues
  • Familiarize yourself with Singapore's regulatory and reporting environment
  • Prepare audited and unaudited financial statements and tax computations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification. Additionally, you should have at least one year of audit experience and be able to perform high-quality work in a capable, efficient, and appropriate manner. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
