Quality Assurance Specialist

Maintain and continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of quality systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with internal guidelines.

  • Enforce adherence to established quality and process procedures by personnel at all times.
  • Oversight and assistance on environmental monitoring systems and calibration & preventive maintenance processes.
  • Manage change control and change notification processes.
  • Assist in validation and qualification projects and processes.
  • Oversight and assistance in supplier / contractor management (complaints follow-up, supplier audits etc.).
  • Support documentation updates, issue, and retrieval for the quality management system.
  • Assist archival process of quality management system documentation.
  • Manage permit and licenses required by the organization.
  • Manage customer complaints, material disposition, and product recall.
  • Manage quality non-conformity e.g. unplanned events, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate, evaluate, and assist in developing action plans and follow-up on quality issues.
  • Lead/assist external audit from customers and regulatory agencies and follow-up on audit closing.
  • Lead/assist internal audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Assist batch release of materials (bin quarantine, release or reject, COA/COC verification).
Requirements:
  • Diploma, degree, or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP.
