Job Title: Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in tax compliance, advisory, and assurance.

Job Description:

As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for handling corporate, personal income, and GST tax compliance. You will provide detailed advisory services to clients, prepare and review tax returns, and respond to IRAS queries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle corporate, personal income, and GST tax compliance
  • Provide detailed advisory services to clients
  • Prepare, review, and e-file income tax returns for clients
  • Respond to IRAS queries and draft objection letters for disputed assessments
  • Advise on tax implications of business transactions
  • Support tax due-diligence and advise on projects like share swaps and business restructurings
  • Assist with GST MES renewal schemes and secure tax rulings or clarifications from IRAS
  • Other tasks as directed by Manager

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • SCTP accreditation, such as Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) in Income Tax, preferred
  • Possess 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a public accounting or tax consulting environment
  • Have a thorough knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including corporate, personal income tax, GST, and general tax compliance
