Job Title: Tax Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled tax expert to join our team. As a tax associate, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive advisory support to clients in various areas of taxation.

The scope of work shall cover corporate tax compliance, personal income tax compliance, and GST compliance. You will assist clients with the preparation, review, and e-filing of their income tax returns, draft responses to tax queries from the IRAS, and advise clients on the tax implications of their business transactions.

You will also assist on tax due-diligence projects and tax advisory related projects, including share swap, restructuring of business, permanent establishment advisory related work, and GST MES renewal schemes.

In addition, you will assist clients in seeking tax rulings or clarifications from IRAS to ensure clarity and compliance.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Accreditation by SCTP will be an added advantage (e.g. Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) Income Tax)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a public accounting or tax consulting firm
Key Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including corporate tax, personal income tax, GST, and general tax compliance matters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong client-oriented approach
