Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

Job Responsibilities

The Technical Delivery Manager will lead and manage a team of internal staff and external vendors for the Wealth application technical delivery of business solutions and new system capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading pre-project planning activities for technical delivery, including technical delivery plans, cost estimation, and resource planning.
  2. Planning technical deliverables to meet project requirements within allocated budget and schedule.
  3. Collaborating across different application teams to manage technical dependencies of the solution.
  4. Managing risks and issues related to technical delivery.
  5. Providing status updates related to technical delivery.
  6. Partnering with System Analysts and Business Solution Specialists to collate, understand, and finalize functional and technical requirements.
  7. Partnering with Architects and Development Leads to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards.
  8. Partnering with Development Managers to manage application teams to build enhancements.
  9. Partnering with Test Managers to ensure completion of System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance/load testing, and application security testing with quality results.
  10. Managing technical implementation plans across application teams to ensure non-event production cutover and adequate post-implementation support.
  11. Developing and maintaining documentation adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards.
  12. Escalating issues that impact project schedules on a timely basis and proposing workarounds/resolutions.
Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. At least 10 years of experience in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multinational/regional company.
  2. At least 5 years of leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams.
  3. Experience in communicating with technical stakeholders.
  4. Experience in the banking industry, Wealth Management, Oracle SQL, and Java.
  5. Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery.
  6. Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications, and technical specifications, and systems development and testing experience.
  7. Good understanding and experience in software development cycles.
  8. Highly effective communication with technical stakeholders and proficient communication with non-technical stakeholders.
  9. Good problem-solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking, and solutioning skills.
  10. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a similar domain.
  11. Related professional/technical qualification will be advantageous although not mandatory.
