We are seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join our team as a Motor Insurance Underwriter. This exciting opportunity will enable you to utilize your skills in underwriting new motor business, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and growing your career in the insurance sector.
Main Responsibilities:- Policy Underwriting: You will be responsible for underwriting new motor policies in accordance with established guidelines and objectives.
- Client Relationships: You will liaise with intermediaries and policyholders on motor insurance matters, building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.
- Renewal Reviews: You will review renewal policies with claims records, ensuring profitable growth and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Portfolio Management: You will monitor and review your portfolio, including financial advisors, to achieve company targets and contribute to business success.
- Team Collaboration: You will collaborate with Team Leads on team matters and provide support as needed, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- Underwriting Experience: You should have a minimum of 2 years of underwriting experience in motor insurance.
- Qualifications: You must possess complete MAS-required qualifications for insurance advice.
- Interpersonal Skills: You should have strong interpersonal skills for managing teams and handling clients, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Multitasking: You should be able to multitask, work independently, and interact with diverse customers.
