Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs/webservices on cloud platforms for service and consumption.
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies, analyze requirement specifications, and collaborate with teams to design and architect solutions, including developing proof of concepts.
  • Document and update technical design specifications.
  • Prepare effort estimation, develop technical activities, schedule, and work breakdown structures to ensure compliance to project scope, deliverables, resources, and budget.
  • Identify and stay updated on the latest application development and technology trends on new initiatives and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct or facilitate knowledge sharing of emerging technologies.
  • Deliver and integrate microservices with web and mobile applications for front-end applications.
  • Analyze and optimize performance and reliability for the front end of applications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in development and support.
  • Good knowledge of typical design patterns in Java, console applications, and Control M.
  • Extensive knowledge of Java multiple thread programming.
  • Experience in building responsive web applications using React JS/Angular.
  • Hands-on experience with Java/Web frameworks and tools, including Java/JEE, Python, Spring Boot Framework, Redis/Aerospike, ReactJS, Kafka, MongoDB, Cloud Foundry, or similar cloud technology, microservices.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, preferably MariaDB, MySQL, NoSQL, Postgres DB.
