Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory services, you will be responsible for performing laboratory diagnostic procedures and related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process laboratory specimens, ensuring they meet the required standards for analysis.
  • Operate the Laboratory Information System to perform tasks such as result query, order entry, and result entry.
  • Perform waived tests and moderate complexity tests, adhering to laboratory protocols and maintaining the highest level of quality control.
  • Alert senior laboratory personnel of critical values and report any adverse incidents promptly.
  • Prepare reagents and materials that require special handling to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on laboratory instrumentation and notify relevant staff of malfunctions.
  • Monitor test kits, reagents, and supplies, notifying staff when replenishment is required.
  • Work flexible shifts as assigned and maintain current knowledge of new instrumentation, techniques, and procedures through workshops, seminars, and education classes.
  • Carry out instructions from senior staff regarding work procedures and duties.
  • Comply with good laboratory practice, adhering to regulations and standards set by regulatory agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Hold a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification.
  • Have 1-2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Possess good laboratory skills, basic computer skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Display a service-oriented and customer-focused attitude.
