Research and Development Chemist

Vnergy Pte Ltd is a startup founded in 2022, specializing in large-scale energy storage solutions. We develop advanced vanadium flow battery systems with high energy density, stability, and cost-efficiency.

Location: Singapore Science Park II

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated chemist to join our R&D team. The role focuses on the synthesis of compounds and supports process design and optimization for advanced material development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel molecules and materials through organic synthesis techniques.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of existing processes through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide technical support across R&D initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least one year of relevant laboratory experience, with proficiency in organic synthesis techniques.
  • Prior experience in pharmaceutical or related industries is preferred.
  • Skilled in using chemical databases and software, including ChemDraw, Reaxys, SciFinder.
  • Fluency in English is required, with bilingual proficiency in Chinese being an advantage.
  • A detailed CV must be submitted with application.
