Research Scientist Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing and characterizing advanced materials and catalysts for electrochemical applications.

This includes the fabrication of ultrathin membranes, porous electrode architectures and transition metal-based electrocatalysts.

The candidate will also assemble and evaluate single-cell electrolyzer prototypes and perform electrochemical analysis to assess catalyst activity and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, synthesize and characterize advanced materials and catalysts
  • Fabricate ultrathin membranes and porous electrode architectures
  • Assemble and evaluate single-cell electrolyzer prototypes
  • Perform electrochemical analysis to assess catalyst activity and efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or materials science
  • Experience in the fabrication of fuel cells and electrolyzers
  • A strong knowledge base in electrochemistry, polymer membranes and analytical instruments
  • Publishing records in electrochemistry
  • Familiarity with FESEM, XRD, TGA and Viscometer
