Job Description:

A Senior Companion will provide supportive care and engaging activities to elderly clients in their homes or community settings.

 

  • Liaise with clients and family members to understand their needs, preferences, and health status.
  • Develop personalized care plans that cater to each client's requirements.
  • Assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, medication management, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Plan and execute recreational activities, social events, and exercise programs to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive support.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Relevant experience in healthcare, preferably with a strong background in caregiving.
  • Healthcare Assistant certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification is an added advantage.
