Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to oversee the management of financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Process accounts payable, verifying vendor invoices and supporting documents.
  • Execute all accounting transactions for assigned vessels, including invoicing, expenses, payments, payroll, and updates to accounting ledgers.
  • Reconcile supplier statements of account and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of all transactions for easy access and retrieval.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and review month-end cash statement.
  • Issue invoices, debit/credit notes, and assist with closing processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and provide required information to management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or Finance.
  • At least 4 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
