Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Contemporary Dance Teacher to lead classes for students of varying levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contemporary dance and a passion for teaching both technique and artistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct engaging Contemporary dance classes for various age groups and skill levels
  • Choreograph routines for performances, competitions, and recitals
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and help them grow in their technique and artistic expression
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to support cross-disciplinary learning
  • Maintain a positive, nurturing, and disciplined classroom environment
  • Stay updated with current trends in Contemporary dance and bring fresh, creative ideas to the studio
Qualifications and Skills
  • Professional experience in Contemporary dance, with performance and teaching experience
  • A degree or certification in dance or related fields is preferred but not required
  • Passion for working with students of all ages and abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best potential
  • Choreographic experience is a plus
Working Hours
  • Full-time position available
  • Weekday evenings and weekends required
