We are seeking a seasoned Due Diligence Analyst to support our clients in the retail banking sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting enhanced due diligence reviews, with a focus on Source of Wealth (SoW) and Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments.
You will work closely with our stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough client due diligence and periodic reviews for retail banking customers
- Perform detailed analysis and assessment of Source of Wealth / Source of Funds information
- Review and assess customer risk profiles in accordance with AML/CFT regulations
- Identify gaps in documentation and escalate potential issues to senior stakeholders
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather missing information and resolve open items
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all CDD work performed
- Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes and internal policy updates
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- At least 1-3 years of experience in client onboarding, CDD, EDD, or KYC reviews within the banking sector
- Strong understanding of MAS AML/CFT guidelines and retail banking products
- Experience in reviewing Source of Wealth documentation preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high volume of cases with accuracy and efficiency
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with retail banking systems and workflows
- Prior experience working in a consulting environment or on remediation projects
