Senior Energy Storage Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and developing advanced energy storage systems and microgrids based on Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries (VRFB) and Lithium-ion Battery (LFP type).
The successful candidate will be responsible for defining BMS functions, designing hardware architecture, schematics, PCB layout, selecting suitable components, devices, and equipment. They will also develop and implement BMS firmware with core algorithms (charging, discharging, SOC/SOH calculations and balancing, etc.). In addition, they will develop and debug BMS firmware and perform on-site debugging of energy storage systems.
The role requires proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++, with experience in embedded system design (TI/Microchip/STM32 MCU, DSP, SoC etc.). Familiarity with electronic circuits and microcontroller applications, as well as expertise in various communication protocols (CAN, Modbus, I2C, SPI, RS485, RS232, etc.) is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have familiarity with BMS features and BMS operation principles, such as parameter monitoring, protection logic, fault diagnosis, SOC/SOH estimation.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD/master's degree in electrical, Electronics or Software or Mechatronics Engineering or relevant degrees. Three years of relevant experience (firmware engineer, embedded design and/or validation) is required. Knowledge of microgrid and microgrid control is an advantage. Self-starters who can work with minimal supervision are preferred. A willingness to learn new things and adapt with the changes is essential.
