**Temporary Technologist - Additive Manufacturing

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Temporary Technologist to join our team in the field of Additive Manufacturing. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design for Additive Manufacturing:
    • Apply design strategies suited for LPBF, SLA, and FDM technologies.
  • 3D Printing & Process Operation:
    • Prepare builds and operate additive manufacturing machines (e.g. LPBF, SLA, FDM), and AM material processing equipment.
    • Perform post-processing, part inspection, and documentation.
  • Teaching & Student Support:
    • Assist in demonstrations and hands-on training for students.
  • Outreach & Public Engagement:
    • Participate and support in outreach events and exhibitions showcasing AM capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science, or related field is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Parametric CAD software (e.g., NX, Fusion) and at least one AM process, will be beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in teams.

Benefits:
