About the RoleThe Employee Rewards and Payroll Manager is a key position responsible for ensuring fair employee compensation and providing benefits that support their overall well-being. This role oversees rewards, benefits, and payroll operations, leading the annual budget process, and plays a crucial part in integration and migration projects for new acquisitions.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement competitive rewards and benefits frameworks aligned with business strategy and market benchmarks.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and market surveys to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Manage annual salary reviews, bonus cycles, and performance-based adjustments.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to management for workforce planning and budgeting.
- Lead the annual budget planning, forecasting, and monitoring.
- Manage outsourced payroll vendor to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
- Review and approve payroll reports, ensuring compliance with CPF, IRAS, MOM, and other statutory requirements.
- Oversee year-end submissions, tax clearance, and statutory filings.
- Act as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries and issue resolution.
- Design and manage employee benefits programs (medical, insurance, leave, wellness, etc.).
- Review and negotiate benefit plans with providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and relevance.
- Lead rewards integration for newly acquired entities.
- Conduct due diligence on acquired companies' rewards structures to identify gaps and harmonisation opportunities.
- Oversee smooth migration of employee data, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 5–8 years' experience with strong exposure to outsourced payroll vendor management.
- Solid knowledge of Singapore employment laws, CPF, IRAS, MOM regulations.
- Proven track record in budgeting and payroll/rewards integration during acquisitions.
- Proficiency in HRIS and vendor management systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
